Going on a Picnic

Oh glorious warm weather, how I have missed you so.  I just love this time of year, when you start to drift from the cold days of winter to the warm, sweet days of spring. The days when you hear birds whistling once more, when you can open your doors, put down the sunroof, see you first flies of the year, and of course go outside and play.  Even though Caleb was born during sunny warm August, we had very little time to enjoy the outdoors with him. I mean afterall we were first time parents, who were learning to take care of a newborn for the first time. Who has time to go out and play?

However, times have changed dear bloggy friends.  Caleb is 7 months, it is in the 60's here is KY, and his mama was so excited to introduce him to a favorite past time of hers.  Going on a picnic, and sitting outside in Spring on a blanket.  Today, was such a glorious mama baby day, and I wish I did not have to work tonight so it could have lasted forever!! We had so much fun playing outside, touching the grass, wiggling our piggies outside of socks, and cuddling under the sun.  Oh Spring I love you so!

Hey hun! My first time here..you have SUCH a cute family!!

We went with the Britax Roundabout 50 seat. We used a 20% coupon, so it was reasonably priced for the safest brand. We think it will work great!!

Sounds like an absolutely perfect day! I can't wait for it to get just a little warmer here so we can spend hours enjoying the sun too!
