The day has come again! My third beloved CHI falt iron has broken, and I am left with a half curly/haf straight/frizzy all over hair. UGHHH. It happened yesterday when I was getting ready for work. The little red light just stopped blinking, and no matter how much shaking, tapping, twisting etc that I did...the CHI did not re-light. It is dead. I know that there is a website where you can send them in to be replaced or fixed. Can someone help me out with the name of that sight? Until then I may have to venture to Wally World or Target and buy a cheapo straightener (does not work with curly hair). Or, I guess I can just walk around with East Ky Big Hair until Christmas :). HELP.

UGH! Mine dies like every two years... i'm on my third one also! No signs what-so-ever... they just die on you :( I saved my box last time, but think there is only a one year warranty...
I know howe you feel girl, Ive been there. My chi died on me last yea rand I have curly hair and this is like the only straightner that works!! Here is what you need to do.. I had my chi for like 3 years and still sent it in. I sent it in with a 35.00 check and if they fix it they do and if not they send you a brand new one, really. It does take serval weeks so you may have to get a cheapie one to do you..

I've probably had my Chi flat iron for 5 years and it is still going strong...I hope I didn't just jinx myself!
My blow dried quit working on me a few months ago and I had a meltdown, I don't know what I would do if my chi quit on me!!!
Best of luck finding the web site, and in the mean time, I will pray abundant money provisions on your family...those irons are expensive!
Just FYI, one way that they last longer is to keep the flat iron "on" and just plug it in to heat up, then unplug it when you are done. Don't ever touch the on/off switch. It burns out and makes it no work. :)
