Paxton 5 months

Eating: you are a big boy now! You are eating solids two times a day, and nursing every 3-4 hours. You have tried green beans, peas, pears, applesauce, mango, bananas and carrots. Green beans being your least favorite. You are also eating oatmeal with your morning feed. I started introducing a sippy and you are not sure what to think of it.

Sleeping: 8:30-7. At least 2 long naps a day. You generally take a short cat nap in the evening.

Size: You are growing like a weed. You can wear 3-6, 6 month, 6-9 months and some 9 months. Size 2 diaper.

Exciting New Things

You can roll both ways now. You actually started rolling from your back to belly on your 5 month birthday.

You laugh at Caleb over anything he does

You love your exersaucer, and have mastered spinning in it

You have discovered eating your feet.

You chew on everything.

You have started reaching your arm around me and snuggling in (like you are hugging me). I love that!!

You blow raspberries now

You squeal a lot now

You are perfect!!! I love you so much!!!

Family Visit

The weekend of Caleb's party my dad, Sherry, and Mikelle came in town.  We had a great visit, and had a lot of fun.  We started off the weekend having dinner with my sister.  The next day was party day and we were all exhausted by the end of it.  Sunday we spent the day canoeing.  My mother in law kept Paxton, and we were on the river basically all day.

After canoeing we all came back to my house for a breakfast dinner and game night.  We had such a good time playing games, laughing, and staying up way too late.

Monday we spent the day at the museum, Game Works, and eating dinner at Dicks.

I think we were all exhausted once the festivities were over, but sad to see them end.  It was a great visit!

Caleb's 5th Birthday

We recently celebrated Caleb's 5th birthday, Power Ranger style.  He went back and forth as to what theme he wanted to have for his party, but the Power Ranger decorations won him over.  He once again picked out all the décor, and favors, and I sat back and let him pick what he wanted.  I enjoy throwing super cute parties, but there is sometime even cuter about your child picking what they actually want....plus it is a lot easier that way.

We planned to have a water party at my in laws, but the day ended up being over cast and kind of chilly.  The kids did not play in water, but they had a blast running around the property playing.

Caleb blew out his candles.  He requested purple because he said there was a purple Power Ranger on one episode he watched....that worked because purple candles were the only candles I had in my pantry.

He opened his gifts.  He got so many fun toys.

My dad performed a magic show for everyone...quite impressive if I do say so myself.

We finished off the party with a small fire.

It was a great party!
